Even when it rains a little, everyone goes sightseeing in Kyoto. If you hate rain, you could avoid it. For example, you could enjoy Kyo-machiya café (café renovated traditional Kyoto town houses).
※You don’t need to pay additional charge for kimono cleaning for rain stain.

Is it possible to wear rental kimono while expecting a child?
There are no problems to wear kimono in the second trimester (about 20th week -28th week).
The condition become stable after the second trimester has come.
Some medical doctors recommend getting some exercise for expecting a child.
Having a trip is one of the nice ways of spending in the second trimester. Let’s enjoy Kyoto tourism with kimono on that opportunity by all means.
I read we don’t need to bring any items for rental kimono.
We’re preparing all items such as hadajyuban (underwear), tabi (socks), zori (shoes) and bag for kimono.
Of course, all items are covered by fee. You don’t need to pay additional charge.
On winter season, if you bring your own open-necked shirt, underpants, gloves or shawl, you could protect yourself against cold weather.
I really don’t understand which combo is appropriate for me.
Please select your favorite kimono after visiting the shop and see some kimono in the day.
Also it’s possible to change your combo in the day. Please select your favorite combo at that time.
How long does it take to dress kimono and have hair styling??
It takes about from 1 hour to 1 and half hour to select and dress kimono, have hair styling and prepare for sightseeing.
However it depends on how long you spend to select kimono.
And even if you make an appointment in advance, we sometimes ask some customers to wait depending on the situation. We hope you understand.
The traffic is heavy in sightseeing season. We appreciate if you leave extra time to come to the shop.
My height is tall (short). Do you have any kimono for me?
Kyo-kimono momiji are preparing some combos for special size kimono such as over-170 cm-ladies-kimono, wide size kimono or small size kimono.
Kyo-kimono momiji has varieties of kimono which were specially made by our shop. Please visit us at ease.
Also Kyo-kimono momiji is preparing zori (shoes) in large size.
What kinds of hair styling can you create for my kimono style?
Kyo-kimono momiji is providing genuine hair styling created by hair rollers.
You could select your kimono hairstyle from 6 types, up-do in curls, French twist, half-up, pigtail, ballet bun and French braid.
Kyo-kimono momiji stylists are creating wave hair or curly hair as your request.
Kyo-kimono momiji stylists are creating special hairstyle as your particular request by additional 1,000 yen（tax excluded）. Please feel free to ask us.
Can I rent hair accessories for kimono?
We are preparing many varieties of hair accessories, ranging from flower hair clips to kanzashi (Japanese hair ornaments).
If you apply for Hair styling combo, we are offering hair accessories by free of charge.
I have short hair. Can I get hair styling for kimono?
If you get curls on top of hair, it looks gorgeous. If your hair is not too short, it’s possible to create kimono hairstyle. Please feel free to consult hair stylists at Kyo-kimono momiji.
We’re also offering only rental hair accessory by itself. Please ask us.
Can I rent only hair accessory by itself?
It costs additional 500 yen（tax excluded）for rental hair accessory by itself.
Please select your favorite flower hair clips or kanzashi (Japanese hair ornaments), of all selection of hair accessories for kimono.
Until what time can I rent kimono?
Our business hours are until 7 pm. Please return your rental kimono by 7 pm.
I hope you take your time to do nice sightseeing.
In case you need kimono dressing service in the early morning or you would like to return your rental kimono in off hours, Please ask us by phone.
How can I return rental kimono?
Please come back to our shop until 19:00.
Or you could choose to return the next day by additional charge.
Can you keep my belongings such as clothing or suitcase?
Kyo-kimono momiji keeps your belongings at our shop by free of charge. (except for valuables)
In case of that, it’s OK to return within our business hours.
Do you have rental yukata (casual summer kimono)?
We offer rental yukata from June to September. We provide a lot of yukata. for famous brand!!
We have enormous collection of thin summer costumes, ranging from (hitoe) unlined kimono to formal summer kimono.
Please enjoy seasonally appropriate kimono or yukata.
(In winter season,) do you have shawls or haori (short coat for formal kimono)?
A shawl: 500 yen（tax excluded）. A haori (short coat for formal kimono): I rent it for 500 yen（tax excluded）.
(If you apply for any other combos, we provide it with additional fee.)

How can I change a reservation or make a cancellation?
In case you’ve made a reservation by online, it’s possible to change a reservation or make a cancellation by entering customer code on the internet.
In case you’ve made a reservation by phone, please contact the shop.
Will there be a cancellation fee?
There won’t be a cancellation fee for ordinary travelers, except for large parties.
However, we are glad that you could contact us as soon as possible since some customers are possibly waiting for making a reservation.
I’m wondering if I will be a little out of place wearing kimono somewhere in Kyoto.
In case you visit any places called ‘tourist spot’ in Kyoto, You won’t feel out of place wearing kimono.
Some travelers are worried about feeling out of place wearing kimono at buses or trains. There is no need for anxiety. There are more people wearing kimono than you are expecting.
